Residents of the La Ranchería community, located in the community of Caridad de los Indios, pertaining to the municipality of Manuel Tames, join forces with residents of other localities to repair the road that, due to its deterioration, keeps them isolated from the municipal capital.
Guantánamo is one of the most mountainous provinces in the country, a condition that causes damage to its roads like no other, due to the direct effect of rainfall or the flooding of rivers, streams and ravines.
The lack of equipment in the territory to undertake the repair of the roads in time, the high degree of breakage and the limitations with financing and oil, greatly affects the roads in the Guantanamo mountain ranges.
