Ideological firmness and revolutionary effervescence distinguish the feelings of the inhabitants of Maisi municipality, who in their political, economic and social actions ratify their commitment to be the worthy venue of the provincial activities on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes quarters assault.
This was confirmed by a press team from different mass media of the territory during a tour of agricultural production cooperatives, schools, public health facilities, construction brigades and other groups.
Priorities include insuring the next coffee harvest, strengthening the application of the Food Security and Sovereignty Law, which requires taking advantage of the current spring campaign and planting as many crops as possible, expediting social programs, especially for families living in vulnerable conditions, and advancing in the construction of housing for those affected by hydro-meteorological phenomena.
The celebration in Maisi municipality of the central activities in Guantanamo province, on the occasion of the National Rebellion Day, also implies reinforcing the fight against arbovirosis, the repair of the Family Doctor’s and Nurse’s Offices, educational facilities, infrastructure for the supply of water to the population and energetic activation with the Summer Mode.
The provincial team of Guantanamo journalists who recently visited socioeconomic objectives in Maisi, also perceived that there prevails a high spirit of homage to our heroes and martyrs of July 26th, 1953; to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, Historical Leader of the Cuban Revolution, to the teachings of Army General Raul Castro Ruz, with the accompaniment of the President of the Republic Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez.
