Guantanamo.- The inauguration of social and health benefit project began in Guantánamo in the community of Cayamo, one of the Caimanera distric, led by the highest authorities of the Party and the provincial government, on the occasion of the celebrations for the National Rebellion Day.
One of these projects is the Jardín de Sueños children’s house, with capacity for 26 children. The school supplies are made by the community, and some of its toys were donated by the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC).
The investment, which benefits children enrolled in early childhood education and working mothers in the community, amounts to 1.8 million Cuban pesos.
Other projects inaugurated on Sunday include the Avícola company’s small-meat processing plant, the intensive care unit at the Pedro Agustín Pérez Pediatric Hospital, the Kumora Club, the Ditú on Paseo Street, the liquefied gas sales outlet in downtown of the provincial capital, and Family Medical Offices numbers 54 and 55 in the suburban neighborhood of Carreterita.
