Guantánamo.- Despite the complex situation affecting the National Electrical System, Guantánamo continues its activities this Saturday, offering sports, physical education, and recreational programs for the healthy enjoyment of people of all ages.
Soccer fans are especially grateful for the giant screens installed in Mariana Grajales Plaza, where they can gather to watch World Cup matches.
At 5:00 p.m., they will have the opportunity to watch the Norway–England quarterfinal match of the international tournament.
Meanwhile, in communities such as Sur Isleta, Centro Oeste, and others, residents are taking advantage of Saturday to participate in activities organized as part of “Summer with My People.”
Guantánamo’s children are being given opportunities to have fun and develop their talents, which they showcase through different games and activities. Coaches and teachers may want to pay attention—perhaps future champions are emerging from among these young participants.
