Guantanamo.- Ensuring the quality of the products and services offered in the different sectors is the main incentive for the specialists of the Territorial Office of Standardization (ONN, in Spanish) in Guantanamo to intensify the actions during the campaign aimed at that purpose that will take place next October.
The opening ceremony to be held on October 1, the asset on quality in the companies of the economy and the Provincial plenary session will be spaces to recognize the importance of management in the entities for the proper operation of the processes and services to the users, in addition to the good condition of the goods that are marketed.
During Quality Month, professionals in this scientific branch will offer workshops on standardization, a task that requires compliance with established rules to offer adequate health care, safeguard the economy and protect consumers.
They will also offer workshops on Metrology, a science that is responsible for calibrating and verifying measurement, weighing and volume instruments, in order to guarantee reliability in the processes of state entities, self-employed businesses and private MSMEs.
As part of the campaign, this entity attached to the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment will also offer training on food handling and safety to new economic actors in the Guantanamo Municipality and Commerce workers in Imias Municipality.
Every October motivates all Standardization specialists in Guantánamo to carry out new actions aimed at raising the quality of products and services, in favor of the economy and the well-being of clients.
