Guantanamo.- The 110 kV line fault in the municipality of San Luis has now been repaired. Currently, efforts are focused on heating the substation in San Luis, Santiago de Cuba Province, and continuing the necessary protocols to restore electrical service in Guantánamo province.

The restoration process will be carried out gradually, prioritizing circuits that have experienced the longest outages, as well as vital infrastructure, within the operational limits of the system.

With discipline and commitment, our electrical workers are diligently working to restore power and peace of mind to the families of Guantánamo.

Brigades from both the Electric Company of Guantánamo and Santiago de Cuba are actively engaged in reconnecting Guantánamo, Cuba’s easternmost province, to the National Electric System (SEN). The coordinated efforts underscore the dedication to reestablish stable and reliable electricity for the region as swiftly as possible.
