Guantanamo.- The Fiesta de las Aguas (Water Party) is celebrated on occasion of the 513 anniversary of the foundation of Baracoa, the first Cuban city. From Saturday 10th to Thursday 15th August, a program of activities takes place, including agricultural fairs, cultural political galas, parties dedicated to the conservation of the most deep-rooted traditions of the territory, such as the festivals of the Toa rafters and the Kiriba-Nengon group, and concerts in public spaces.
A new edition of the Guapen Festival took place this Thursday, August 8, with the participation of by the residents of the Guanacón Neighborhood, belonging to the Turey settlement, in the First City of Cuba, Baracoa.
The Quiviján settlement celebrates with a new edition of the “Traditoa” Festival.
