The Center for Management and Technological Information (CIGET) in Guantánamo is distinguished at the national level by preparing valuable compendia for use in research and inventions, in addition to offering specialized advisory and consulting services to non-state companies and workers.
The search, processing and supply of scientific-technological information intended for science centers, universities, companies and territorial authorities, is one of the services of this group, in favor of the adoption of timely decisions in each case.
CIGET Guantánamo also performs studies of perception of disaster risks, as part of the Tarea Vida Plan, and participates in territorial development projects, aimed at increasing agricultural and productive yields in general of various companies.
This is what Eliecer Constanten Bonnanet, deputy director of scientific and technical services at the Center for Management and Technological Information says.
He also stressed that its specialists help to improve de quality systems, brand certifications and other distinctive signs of state and private entities, in addition to the implementation of technology transfers.
Based on this broad work, CIGET in the province enables collaborations between science institutions and the productive sector to generalize scientific results and innovations, in favor of socioeconomic development, among other contributions.
