Guantánamo – To work with dedication to fulfill in each of the labor collectives agreements made with the 41 actions included in the campaign of the Day of Decisive Effort: Guantánamo rises, it is the call of the Cuban Workers Federation (CTC, in Spanish), in Guantanamo Province and its Unions to ensure compliance with the economic, productive and service plans, to mark 66th anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution.
The proposal, approved by the Provincial Defense Council, includes the organization of massive mobilizations for the coffee harvest, especially in the Maisí Municipality, the largest producer of the aromatic grain, where significant harvest losses are reported.
Juana Eglis Fernandez Louit, general secretary of CTC in the province, announced the upcoming acts to give the flag to brigades in the municipalities of El Salvador, Guantánamo, Yateras, Manuel Tames, Caimanera and Niceto Pérez that support the most affected territories, especially in food production and the cleaning of sewers, public roads and tracks affected.
Donations are also being collected to support the victims and massive cleaning actions and blood donations are being organised to once again confirm the confidence of living in a country where helplessness does not exist.
