The children soccer team of Guantanamo consolidates its position in first place in the U-13 National Championship and maintains its undefeated status, after equaling zero goals against Santiago de Cuba, the other indomitable team in key D, during the challenge held at the end last week, on the Tierra Caliente (hot land).

The eleven players led by Coach Eric Ramírez during four competitive days ended with two victories and the same number of ties (both against Santiago de Cuba), for a total of eight points. Likewise, with five goals scored and only two allowed, they exhibit the best effectiveness average in that section.

The little Titans, current national runners-up, advance with firm steps to qualify for the final stage of the competition with the same impetus as the previous year, in which they were one step away from the title and fell against Havana in a round-robin penalties, at the Roberto Mora field.
