Guantánamo – The Provincial Distribution Council in Guantánamo assures that in the next few days the distribution of rice and other products associated with the standard family basket will be completed.
Joennis Samón Mora, Coordinator of Tasks and Objectives in the provincial Government, explained that the two pounds of rice pending distribution will begin to be unloaded at the port of Santiago de Cuba and will be transported to the territory shortly.
Despite delays and the fractionation of the products, the Cuban State and Government guarantee the import of the basic basket products in US dollars.
The radio station system of the Guantánamo Province broadcasted this Monday, October 14, at 9:00 a.m., special information of interest to the inhabitants of the easternmost of the Cuban provinces, to whom the directors of enterprises and organizations explained about different topics of social interest.
