Yara Amelia Vaillant Sánchez, official in the Ministry of the Food Industry (MINAL), called in Guantanamo to diversify productions and generalize good practices that enables an increase in offers to the population.
In these terms she made her statement after viewing, evaluating and exchanging with representatives of the more than fifty samples of meat products, dairy products, soft drinks, syrup, breads, sweets, rums, wines, vinegar and other assortments of high demand present in the Second Provincial Workshop that for these purposes was carried out in this territory.
Also leading a group of specialists from the Ministry of the Food Industry, she learned about the actions carried out by groups in the sector in the interest of productive chaining as a basic element for the development of the local economy.
The Second Provincial Workshop in Guantanamo, aimed at getting more industrialized food production, was sponsored by the delegation of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment and entities of the sector, although it was not competitive in nature, the jury recognized the participation of all the companies.
