Guantanamo.- The Office of the Conservator of the Baracoa City is committed to providing care and help to vulnerable people and groups, while also taking action on other tasks.

Alejandro Hartmann Matos, director of the Office, reported that the link with associations for the disabled such as ANCI, ANSOC and ACLIFIM plays an important role in this purpose.

He added that in this way the needs are known and from there the help is managed, which is granted fundamentally for motor impairments, with the delivery of wheelchairs.

Through the Office directed by Hartmann, and in agreement with the Health sector, disposable diapers were delivered for cases of bedridden elderly adults.

It is worth highlighting the commitment made to the special schools in the territory, to which donations of school materials and personal items for boys and girls were delivered.

In addition to the work of Office of the Conservator of the First Cuban City, in favor of vulnerable people and groups, they are carrying out to recover from the damage caused by Hurricane Oscar, through efforts with the Network of Heritage Cities of Cuba, Non-Governmental Organizations, embassies and friends of Baracoa in various parts of the world.
