Guantanamo.- The First Secretary of the Party in Guantánamo Province, Yoel Pérez García, highlighted on his official Facebook profile that the growing of white wheat planted in areas of the municipality of El Salvador by workers from the Agrosalva Company continues at a good pace.

The crop aims to multiply seeds to reach 50 hectares, within the framework of the food sovereignty program.

The top political leader in the province also thanked all the farmers who made this important achievement possible.

The AgroSalva Agroforestry Company, based in the mountains of the municipality of El Salvador, specifically in Limoncito de Bayate, is committed to agroecological practices that allow for a balance between productivity, environmental respect, and local development.

The basis of AgroSalva’s agroecological model lies in the rational use of the natural resources of the mountain ecosystem, with practices such as crop association, the use of organic fertilizers, biological pest control, and the conservation of water sources.
