The Non-Hotel Palmares S.A Branch in Guantanamo was recognized by its counterpart in Holguín, as part of the tour that the parent company carries out through the provinces of the country that have labor groups of their entity.
The ceremony took place at the company headquarters before a representation of its more than 150 workers, outstanding both in their economic management and in union work and also immersed in promoting offers that reach all market segments of the company.
Orlando Román Cuba, member of the Board of Directors, referred to the Palmares Por tu barrio campaign, which reaches communities with attractive products at more affordable prices, always accompanied by some cultural activities.
On behalf of workers, Rocío Vega Ávila said to be proud to have received this recognition, “which commits us to giving our all, in a very complex scenario for our society, but we reaffirm that we are followers of the work of the Revolution, whose triumph will be 65 years old on January 1st.”
The Palmares S.A Non-Hotel Branch in Guantanamo has thirteen facilities in Baracoa and in the main city of the province, among which restaurants, cafes and nightclubs stand out, such as La Rotonda, Nevada, Fortuna and La Olimpia, among others.
