The Israel Reyes Zayas Faculty of Guantanamo, attached to the Antonio (Ñico) López University, of the Communist Party of Cuba, hosted on Friday the VI Fidel Vision of the Future Workshop, an event with a program of activities that has been developed in the Cuban province since last October 10th.
During the day, nearly 30 papers were presented that highlighted the validity of Fidel’s thought with emphasis on the life and work of the Commander in Chief in the economic, political and social sphere.
In the same way, the documentary by Orlando Serrano, “Fidel in Guantanamo, A historical and little-known visit” was presented, which was shown by the researcher and president of the José Martí Cultural Society, Noralis Palomo and the director Ramón Ortiz, who recalled Fidel’s presence in the ten municipalities of the upper east.
The VI Fidel Vision of the Future Workshop included activities in student, work and community centers in the easternmost province of Cuba, regarding the seventh anniversary of his death on November 25, 2016, a date that the country and the world believed in the immortality of the Historical Leader of the Cuban Revolution.
