{"id":10134,"date":"2024-09-27T14:04:08","date_gmt":"2024-09-27T18:04:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.radioguantanamo.icrt.cu\/english\/?p=10134"},"modified":"2024-09-27T14:04:08","modified_gmt":"2024-09-27T18:04:08","slug":"outstanding-cdrs-members-are-recognized-in-guantanamo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.radioguantanamo.icrt.cu\/english\/outstanding-cdrs-members-are-recognized-in-guantanamo\/","title":{"rendered":"Outstanding CDR&#8217;s members are recognized in Guant\u00e1namo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10135\" src=\"https:\/\/www.radioguantanamo.icrt.cu\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/condecoraciones_cdr1-e1727449696575.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"392\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.radioguantanamo.icrt.cu\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/condecoraciones_cdr1-e1727449696575.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.radioguantanamo.icrt.cu\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/condecoraciones_cdr1-e1727449696575-300x184.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/>Guant\u00e1namo \u2013 For their merits and relevant careers in the service of the communities, more than a dozen people with outstanding work in the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) were awarded in Guant\u00e1namo with the Medal for the Defense of the Homeland and the Unity of the Neighborhood, and the 26 de September Distinction, on the occasion of the celebrations for the 64th anniversary of the massive organization.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony took place in one of the halls of the Plaza de la Revoluci\u00f3n Mariana Grajales Cuello, in the capital city, in the presence of Gerardo Hern\u00e1ndez Nordelo, Hero of the Republic of Cuba and the National Coordinator of the CDR, and Yoel P\u00e9rez Garc\u00eda, the first secretary of the Party in the eastern province, who congratulated the honorees.<\/p>\n<p>During the ceremony \u00a0the 28 de septiembre Flag was given to zone 38 Vilma Esp\u00edn, of the San Justo Popular Council, in Guantanamo City, a neighborhood that has held the status of National Vanguard for more than five consecutive years.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21976\" src=\"https:\/\/www.radioguantanamo.icrt.cu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/condecoraciones_cdr2-e1727449820916.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In that grass-root structure, declared free of corruption and illegalities and the first in the Guantanamo Municipality to comply with the contribution to the Homeland at the beginning of this year, 85 percent of its homes are linked to the Cultiva tu pedacito movement.
