The open letter to the U.S. president was organized by the Haitian Bridge Alliance and the International Refugee Assistance Project. They say they have witnessed detained asylum seekers, including children, being held indefinitely in prison-like conditions with insufficient healthcare and little access to legal assistance.<\/p>\n
