According to the Government, the results reflect the effectiveness of the Territorial Control Plan and the emergency regime that allowed the arrest of more than 83,000 gang members and alleged collaborators, which is evidenced in homicide rates that should drop from two in 2024.<\/p>\n

In December, the country recorded 21 consecutive homicide-free days, adding to more than 10 days in the same period in November. This month could surpass October when 27 days without murders were recorded.<\/p>\n
