FA) and the Jes\u00fas Ad\u00f3n People&#8217;s Bloc of the Dominican Republic reaffirmed their support on Tuesday for the mass march led by more than 500,000 Havana residents against the economic blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-36d6027 elementor-widget elementor-widget-post-info\" data-id=\"36d6027\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"post-info.default\">\n<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1d2203f elementor-share-buttons--view-icon elementor-share-buttons--skin-minimal elementor-share-buttons--shape-circle elementor-share-buttons--color-custom elementor-grid-0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-share-buttons\" data-id=\"1d2203f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"share-buttons.default\">\n<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n<div class=\"elementor-grid\">\n<div class=\"elementor-grid-item\">\n<div class=\"elementor-share-btn elementor-share-btn_twitter\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\" aria-label=\"Share on twitter\">\u201cOur organizations defend Cuba\u2019s right to full sovereignty, self-determination and non-interference in its internal affairs,\u201d they said in a statement.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e5145f6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-theme-post-content\" data-id=\"e5145f6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"theme-post-content.default\">\n<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n<p>They highlighted that the march on December 20 was led by Army General Ra\u00fal Castro Ruz and President Miguel D\u00edaz-Canel.<\/p>\n<p>The Broad Front Secretariat of International Relations and the Jes\u00fas Ad\u00f3n People\u2019s Bloc noted that the Havana residents, representing the Cuban people, demanded Cuba\u2019s exclusion from Washington\u2019s unilateral State Sponsors of Terrorism (SSOT) list and the lifting of the economic blockade, which has been tightened to unprecedented levels in recent years.<\/p>\n<p>The two Dominican organizations stated that less than a month befor Republican President Donald Trump takes office in the United States, the economic coercive measures imposed by the ruler himself during his previous administration (2017-2021) remain in force.<\/p>\n<p>They demanded an end of the United States\u2019 pressure policy, and noted that it was false and immoral to point to Cuba as a State that sponsors terrorism.<\/p>\n<p>The anti-imperialist march for Cuba denounced, in front of the Embassy of the United States, the maintenance of the pressure policy against the Caribbean island, with harmful effects on the quality of life of its people and its economic development, they pointed out.<\/p>\n<p>They stressed that Cubans also rejected the adoption of 243 additional measures by the White House, in addition to the training of paramilitary groups that organize, promote and finance terrorist actions against social and economic structures in Cuba.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe express our solidarity with the Cuban people for their sovereignty, independence, and their Revolution; the blockade suffocates, but \u201cCuba Lives, Persists and Resists,\u201d they indicated in the statement, which was also signed by Corriente Magisterial Juan Pablo Duarte, Frente Estudiantil Flavio Suero (Feflas) \u2013 Juventud Caribe, UCT and the National Human Rights Commission.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Guant\u00e1namo.- The Broad Front (Frente Amplio &#8211;
