Guant\u00e1namo.- The Hermanos Sa\u00edz Association (AHS) of Guant\u00e1namo held the prize-giving ceremony\u00a0 of\u00a0 the 2024 El Creador\u00a0 Award, an annual recognition that highlights the artistic and literary work of its members during the year and which was received by nine outstanding artists and writers.<\/p>\n
Dairon Mart\u00ednez Tejeda, president of the AHS in the province, said that the award aims to motivate creators who have produced works of impact and significance.<\/p>\n
The writer Wilfredo Robas was honored, having won three literary awards this year: The Regino Eladio Boti, of Guant\u00e1namo, the Hermano Loynaz , of Pinar del R\u00edo and the AHS National Calendar, \u201cwhich recognizes Robas as one of the most awarded local poets,\u201d Mart\u00ednez Tejeda pointed out.<\/p>\n
The AHS also give the award to the three members who received the El Reino de Este Mundo scholarship for their quality and innovation projects, including Felipe Adriano Catal\u00e1 for his production Tus palabras no valen<\/em><\/strong>; Adriel Bosch Cascaret for the script of the feature film Los Hijos de Bernarda<\/em><\/strong>; and the actor Marcos Castillo for his work El P\u00edcaro Burlado<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n Magela Zamora was also awarded the Memoria Nuestra prize for her research work and a mention in that specialty at the Reina del Mar event in Cienfuegos, reflecting the commitment of a new generation to contribute to knowledge and the culture of Guantanamo, the president of the AHS said.<\/p>\n Another award winner was the musician Jeafrei Ortiz Manzanares, for his work on the soundtrack of the award-winning film Los Hijos de Bernarda<\/em><\/strong> and his active participation in the activities of the AHS and the young journalists and writers Sandra Bory Castellanos, \u00c1ngel Ram\u00edrez Goliat and Daniel Esquijarosa Ceiro, for the awards in the Marco Antonio Char\u00f3n contest, in the category of print journalism.<\/p>\n The award was also given to these nine winners also for their commitment to the development of successful artistic projects and for their active participation in the recovery efforts after the passage of Hurricane Oscar, which contributed significantly to the refurbishment of the affected communities.<\/p>\n The AHS of Guant\u00e1namo also gave recognition to those who were involved in its cultural mission and contributed to its success, such as the musician Javier Sald\u00edvar Sald\u00edvar, for his constant support in various activities, such as the organization of the 48th edition of the Canci\u00f3n Pol\u00edtica; the Camerino project, for its unconditional support of the promotional work of the Association, along with the Back Step project, which maintained a constant link with the organization.<\/p>\n Also, the curator Henry Jarrosay, for his impact on curatorial projects in schools; the troubadour Yamislay Matos Beltr\u00e1n; the CMKS Radio Station, always with its doors open to the Association and Alabao Producciones, in recognition of its audiovisual collaboration, fundamental for its growth.
