Guant\u00e1namo.- For 2025, we hope for new and better results in scientific projects, and to achieve its goals in Guant\u00e1namo. In addition, we hope to undertake an improvement in meteorological and environmental equipment on a regional scale. We also intend to achieve better adaptation to climate change in rural communities and guarantee food security.<\/p>\n
Our objective is also to comply with what is stipulated in the new Communication Law, from the strategies outlined in each science center and institution, help to bring sustainable agroecological development projects to fruition.<\/p>\n

I hope that 2025 will be a better year for our Homeland, both in economic and social indicators. I think that the country has gone through the worst and progress tends to be incremental rather than dramatic, without spectacular leaps, it will improve. In January, Cuba will formally join the BRICS group of emerging economies, which will be a blow against the economic, commercial and financial blockade that the United States has imposed on us for more than 60 years.<\/p>\n
For the New Year I pray for good health for my family, for my friends and for me so that we can continue working the land and contribute to the much-needed food sovereignty for which we fight. In this objective, for example, of 20 tons of rice that I had planned to deliver to the State in 2024, I will close with 40, and I have the aspiration to exceed 50 in 2025.<\/p>\n

The New Year will be one of professional growth. We hope to maintain the current projects and add others, among them, the Alma project, linked to the medical program for the care of children with oncological pathologies, as we have done until now.<\/p>\n

This 2025 the Gui\u00f1ol Theater turns 55 years old and the Guant\u00e1namo-Baracoa Theater Crusade 35. We are preparing for a high-level Crusade, with many guests and to celebrate the anniversary of the theater all year round, not just on April 4, the founding date. Among the vast repertoire aimed at children and young people, we also long to have a boost to the Gui\u00f1ol group with youth and sustainability of the staff.<\/p>\n
