Some young people from Guantanamo will perform the traditional Mart\u00ed Route, which this time commemorates the 130th anniversary of Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed’s death in combat. They will depart on April 11 from Cajobabo Beach, in the municipality of Im\u00edas, where the National Hero landed with M\u00e1ximo G\u00f3mez in 1895.<\/p>\n
After following the Mambi route through the Cuban Upper East,\u00a0 the UJC members will arrive at Aguacate on the 19th of the same month, where young people from the province of Santiago de Cuba will continue to Dos R\u00edos.<\/p>\n
During the youth tour along the Guantanamo section of the Mart\u00ed Route, the promotion of officers of the Revolutionary Armed Forces is planned at Rancho de Tavera, where Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed was appointed major general by the General-in-Chief <\/span><\/span> M\u00e1ximo G\u00f3mez B\u00e1ez.<\/p>\n During the march through the mountains, young people involved in the patriotic journey will receive their membership cards from the Young Communist League in the Yaraguana area.<\/p>\n The Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed route will be accompanied by 130 young people, a number that will increase as the route progresses throughout the eastern territory.
