\"\"Guantanamo.- More than 737 Guantanamo twelfth-grade students aspiring to a university degree will take the higher education entrance exams, which begin on May 6th with Mathematics, Spanish and History will be held on the 9th and 13th, respectively.<\/p>\n

Yoendris Ram\u00edrez Figueroa, Head of Pre-University Education in the territory, explained to CMKS that those who won medals in provincial and national competitions, as well as in Olympics and international events, will obtain their degree directly, without having to take the exam. He also clarified that applicants who cannot attend will have a second call on the 23rd, 25th, and 27th of the same month.<\/p>\n

Provincial Chief Ram\u00edrez Figueroa also noted that the educational sector in Guant\u00e1namo developed intensive preparation through typical entrance exam drilling activities, which were combined with online classes, individual reviews of the most difficult content, and knowledge checks, including problems, plane geometry, and spatial geometry, among other assessed content.<\/p>\n

In Cuba’s easternmost territory, the 15 entrance exam sites have already been set up, one for each territory. In Guant\u00e1namo, five centers have been set up: Flor Crombet, Enrique Soto, and Rub\u00e9n Batista, as well as the Jos\u00e9 Maceo Grajales Vocational Complex and the University of Guant\u00e1namo.<\/p>\n

Yoendris Ram\u00edrez Figueroa, provincial chief for pre-university education, reported that after the exams, the first program awarding will be made to those passing students who get a grade of 60 points on the exams for all entrance exams.
