The program celebrated the tradition of chang\u00fc\u00ed, a native genre of Guant\u00e1namo, and was recognized for its contribution to the dissemination of Cuban musical culture.<\/p>\n<p>Guantan\u00e1mo also received individual recognition in the presenter and scriptwriting categories, with prominent Baracoa natives Odalys Borges Reyes and Siraida Muguercia Terrero winning awards in the female presenter and non-dramatized scriptwriting categories for the play Danza del oficio (Dance Trade).<\/p>\n<p>Yusneikis Urgell\u00e9s Mart\u00ednez also won awards for Recording for El reloj de agua (The Water Clock).<\/p>\n<p>In the Science, Technology, and Environment category, Hablemos del El reloj de agua (Let\u2019s Talk about the Water Clock) by Martha Luz Urgell\u00e9s Mart\u00ednez was recognized for its educational content on local water resources. UNEAC Radio Joint Production Award<\/p>\n<p>Esencias: El Primado Mayor, by Rosa Orlides Cardoza Bartutis, which highlights Baracoa&#8217;s cultural heritage.<\/p>\n<p>At the festival&#8217;s closing ceremony, Radio Playita, a radio station from the municipality of Im\u00edas, also recognized for its performance in the participation program S\u00e1bado Gigante, directed by Leonardo Rivera P\u00e9rez, recognized for its dynamism and audience interaction.<\/p>\n<p>Informative Genre Award (Report)<\/p>\n<p>Un tesoro en la ca\u00f1ada (A Treasure in the Ravine), by Mileidi Cuza Arcia, was recognized for her research on local heritage.<\/p>\n<p>The Guant\u00e1namo delegation collected a total of 13 awards at the festival, including outstanding achievements by municipal radio stations such as La Voz del Toa, with five awards and Radio Playitas, with two, which acknowledged the province&#8217;s leadership in national radio.<\/p>\n<p>The winners from Radio Guant\u00e1namo dedicated these awards to their audience and collective efforts, highlighting their commitment to quality and innovation.
