In his words of praise, he considered radio as a captivating medium.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, he expressed feeling like part of this family, where he has had the opportunity to address the people of Guant\u00e1namo and interact with them through the program &#8220;En Frecuencia con el Pueblo&#8221; (On Frequency with the People).<\/p>\n<p>He also congratulated the station&#8217;s staff for their third-place obtained at the National Radio Festival, where Guantanamo broadcasters won 13 awards, and congratulated the audience for their loyalty to the station considered the Friendly Voice.<\/p>\n<p>Oscar Hodel\u00edn, director of the Guantanamo radio system, expressed his gratitude for the recognition and his commitment to continue working with a sense of belonging and respect for the listeners, a representative of whom were present at the gala preceding the celebration of CMKS&#8217;s 88 years.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FRadioGuantanamo%2Fposts%2Fpfbid0mnAbXL9Kf2aRuMjoehT6KobfHrhqaUhiv4pK6k6EC5N7nq71C8tJc9iP2aFbQsxZl&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"677\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>During this day of celebrations, the provincial station received other honors from various organizations and institutions, such as the Policarpo Pineda Library, the Provincial Prosecutor&#8217;s Office, the Ministry of the Interior, the Cuban Workers&#8217; Federation, Venceremos Newspaper, and the Provincial Culture Union.<\/p>\n<p>The CMKS Station also recognized radio families such as Cristina Pav\u00f3n and the Mosquedas in Baracoa, as well as prominent listeners, including Juan Cala Col\u00f3n, Yoraixis, La Mora del Guaso, Modesto Arango, Erial Iglesias, and Rafaela Cruz Valiente.<\/p>\n<p>Also present were several members of clubs that enjoy radio programs such as &#8220;De Extremo a Extremo,&#8221; &#8220;Bajo el Cielo de M\u00e9xico,&#8221; &#8220;Alborada&#8221; with the &#8220;Corredores de la madrugada&#8221; and its inspiration, Miriam Obr\u00e9, &#8220;Sazonando&#8221; directed by Leidiana Falc\u00f3n, Jorge Naranjo with &#8220;Desde Aqu\u00ed,&#8221; and Rolando Cervera, promoter of the &#8220;Por quien merece amor&#8221; project, dedicated to the elderly, among others.<\/p>\n<p>During celebration on the 88th anniversary of the provincial radio station in Guant\u00e1namo, the plaque identifying the institution&#8217;s theater was unveiled, which bears the name of the pianist &#8220;Lil\u00ed Mart\u00ednez.\u201c His life and work as arranger and composer are collected in the book &#8220;El hombre y su m\u00fasica,&#8221; (The Man and his Music, Lili Mart\u00ednez Gri\u00f1\u00e1n) that now houses in the CMKS station\u2019s archives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Guantanamo.- The First Secretary of the Party in Guant\u00e1namo, Yoel P\u00e9rez Garc\u00eda, presented a special recognition to the staff of the Provincial Radio Station CMKS during the ceremony that celebrates the radio station&#8217;s 88th anniversary on June 27.
