The event in his honor begins this Monday at the Jose Marti Memorial with the solo exhibition \u201cAll the Glory of the World,\u201d by photographer Alex Castro Soto del Valle.<\/p>\n

These are snapshots that recreate the image of the Commander in Chief from the artist\u2019s intimate perspective.<\/p>\n

The presentation of the documentary \u201cFidel is Fidel,\u201d by photographer and audiovisual producer Roberto Chile, is scheduled for tomorrow at the Provincial Center for Plastic Arts and Design in the province of Santiago de Cuba.<\/p>\n

This valuable material displays images that perpetuate key moments of the Revolution.<\/p>\n

Another initiative to commemorate Fidel\u2019s birthday and International Youth Day is the two-person exhibition \u201cReborn,\u201d by visual artists Israel Tamayo and Henry Hechavarria, this Tuesday at the Taller Cultural in Santiago de Cuba.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, on August 13, the opening of the solo exhibition \u201cIdeal Garden,\u201d by Zaida del Rio, winner of the 2023 National Prize for Visual Arts, will take place at the Provincial Gallery of Sancti Sp\u00edritus.<\/p>\n

Also scheduled for that day at the Provincial Gallery of Santiago de Cuba is the opening of the exhibition \u201cWord, Image, and Possibility,\u201d featuring images that reflect the relationship between Fidel Castro and Cuban and Latin American artists and intellectuals.<\/p>\n

The inauguration of the \u201cAmelia Pelaez\u201d Art Instructors\u2019 Salon at the Oscar Fern\u00e1ndez Morera Gallery in Sancti Sp\u00edritus; and the award ceremony for the \u201cDreams of the Homeland\u201d children and youth contest at the Galer\u00eda Taller Lolo in Matanzas, join the tributes the Cuban people dedicate to Fidel Castro on August 13.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
