\"\"Guantanamo.- The director of the 59-player strong Cuban baseball preselection to the Americas Baseball Cup, German Mesa, said is the best one we\u2019ve got to contest that championship, which will gather twelve teams from this region.<\/p>\n

During a press conference in Havana, Mesa said Cubans look to play a different game, new things he said, as he referred to changes in the team directive board.<\/p>\n

He announced coach Noelvis Gonzalez and stressed the records of Omar Linares as batting trainer in the Japanese league and the success of Jesu Bosmenier in working with pitchers.<\/p>\n

Cuba appears on the classification group at the Americas Baseball Cup to be hosted by Venezuela, November 12-17, with the participation of teams from Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Curacao.<\/p>\n

Another venue is Panama, which will hold the finals of the championship with the participation of Puerto Rico, Colombia, Canada, Brazil and Argentina.<\/p>\n
