Photo: Presidential Press Office<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"content-area__text__full\">\n<p>Guant\u00e1namo.- The acting president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodr\u00edguez, and the Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodr\u00edguez, reaffirmed their joint commitment to defending national sovereignty and the Bolivarian Revolution this Thursday in Caracas, following the recent imperialist military aggression of January 3rd that resulted in the kidnapping of constitutional president Nicol\u00e1s Maduro and first lady Cilia Flores.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.telesurenglish.net\/delcy-rodriguez-leads-tribute-to-heroes-and-martyrs-fallen-in-defense-of-venezuelan-sovereignty\/\">Delcy Rodr\u00edguez Leads Tribute to Heroes and Martyrs Fallen in Defense of Venezuelan Sovereignty<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will give lessons in international diplomacy based on Bol\u00edvar\u2019s doctrine,\u201d stated Delcy Rodr\u00edguez in a message addressed to the people of the United States, emphasizing that, despite the events that \u201cleave a stain on the history of bilateral relations,\u201d Venezuela will not act out of hatred. \u201cIt is not revenge, it is vindication,\u201d she declared.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-media-max-width=\"560\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Acting President of <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Venezuela?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Venezuela<\/a>, Delcy Rodriguez, led the tribute to the patriots who gave their lives in defense of the country&#8217;s national sovereignty.
