Guantanamo.- The Espacio Interior \u201cImprontus del Cuerpo\u201d, performed on Thursday by the Guantanamo-based company Danza Fragmentada, commemorated the International Women’s Day. The hosts shared the stage with the company Danza Libre, singer Dayamis Lores Sim\u00f3n from the Babul Folkloric Ballet, and the talented bolero singer Paula Vill\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
At the Danza Fragmentada venue, the performance featured revealing works such as \u201cEsta tarde vi llover\u201d (This Afternoon I Saw It Rain), various improvisations, and choreographic studies by renowned local companies, interwoven with the interpretation of several bolero, filin, and song master pieces\u2014Cuban genres mastered with Vill\u00f3n’s distinctive style.<\/p>\n

For over three decades, the Danza Fragmentada company, directed by dancer and choreographer Ladislao Navarro Tomas\u00e9n, has maintained Espacio Interior as an essential meeting point for art lovers and movement professionals.<\/p>\n
This time, the dance gathering for International Women’s Day celebrated the talent of the artists and also became a space for advocating against the inequalities against women in society.<\/p>\n
