In the Children&#8217;s Poetry category, the award went to Osmel D\u00edaz Ram\u00edrez for his work, &#8220;Arriando velas&#8221; (Lowering Sails), who also received an award in the D\u00e9cima (ten-line stanza) category, along with Leom\u00e9rides Blancart Matos.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, in the Children&#8217;s Poetry category, the jury awarded an honorable mention to Lidia Sav\u00f3n Mansfarrol, and in the D\u00e9cima category, to Fernando Su\u00e1rez Men\u00e9ndez. In the Theater category, the main award went to Idalvis Olivares Pe\u00f1a for his play, &#8220;Colonia de fuego&#8221; (Colony of Fire).<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Ennie P\u00e9rez Orihuela, Andr\u00e9s Casta\u00f1eda Vel\u00e1zquez, and Marileidis Medina Fari\u00f1as won prizes in the short story category of this competition, and Amelia Gonz\u00e1lez Correa received an honorable mention. The event, sponsored by the Provincial Center of Houses of Culture in Guant\u00e1namo, took place on April 10th and 11th.<\/p>\n<p>The 46th Municipal Meeting and Debate of Literary Workshops for Adults was dedicated to the Guant\u00e1namo author and instructor, Jorge Planche Cobas.
