\"\"Guant\u00e1namo.- With art as their shield and memory as their banner, workers from the cultural sector in the municipality of El Salvador led an emotional day of signing for the homeland this Tuesday, in support of the principles of sovereignty and national defense.<\/p>\n

The Di\u00f3medes Silveria Vald\u00e9s House of Culture was dressed for the occasion to welcome artists, directors, and cultural leaders from the territory, who turned the venue into a stronghold of patriotic commitment.<\/p>\n

From the early hours of the morning, the atmosphere in the cultural center reflected conscious mobilization. Specialists, musicians, cultural promoters, and heritage managers lined up at the designated tables to sign their names in an act that goes beyond administrative formality and becomes a declaration of principles.<\/p>\n

\u201cSigning for the homeland is signing for our identity. Here, in this House that honors local culture, we reaffirm our commitment to historical truth and the defense of our symbols,\u201d stated Digna Rodr\u00edguez \u00c1lvarez, Head of the Department of Cultural Programs.<\/p>\n

The atmosphere was enriched by improvised musical performances and the recitation of poems alluding to Cuban identity, while the signatories\u2014many of them with decades of uninterrupted work in the municipality\u2014shared a common sentiment: \u201cCulture is not neutral, and in times of firmesness, art also becomes a shield.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
