\"\"Guantanamo.- Guant\u00e1namo students exuded joy and enthusiasm in the Pioneer parade held this Wednesday in celebration of International Workers’ Day.<\/p>\n

The central Pedro Agust\u00edn P\u00e9rez Street hosted the event, in which the union leaders of tomorrow paid tribute to the proletariat in Guant\u00e1namo by marching in three groups with the same names that will identify the May Day parade: Unity, Dignity, and Continuity.<\/p>\n

In this now-traditional event, the youngest generation of pioneers appeared dressed in costumes representing professions and trades such as doctor, soldier, teacher, etc., and carried banners alluding to the most important day for workers. Their voices echoed with cheers for Cuba and the Revolution.<\/p>\n

Along with educators and union leaders, students from Guantanamo also extolled the value of work as the source of all wealth in a parade that captivated passersby who, from Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed Park in the capital city, enjoyed each initiative, as a prelude to International Workers’ Day.<\/p>\n
