\"\"Guantanamo.- In a moving act of solidarity and social support, three vulnerable families from the Costa Rica People\u2019s Council, in the municipality of El Salvador, received a donation of televisions and washing machines this Monday.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by the president of the Municipal Assembly of People\u2019s Power, Eudis Ruiz Romero, and the local administrator, Yaritza Oma\u00f1a Puente.<\/p>\n

The first to receive the items was Dione Morales del R\u00edo, 39, a mother of two children with disabilities. Through tears, Morales expressed her gratitude for the gesture, highlighting the significance of this support for her household. Her daughter, Geidi Silva Morales, 15, studies Nursing and lives with hip dysplasia, a condition that requires special care and constant support. \u201cThis changes our lives,\u201d the mother said, visibly moved.<\/p>\n

Another beneficiary was little \u00c1ngel Torres S\u00e1nchez, just three years old, who lives with Down syndrome. His mother, Yuriesky S\u00e1nchez Samora, admitted she never expected such assistance and deeply appreciated the delivery of the appliances, which will improve her family\u2019s daily living conditions<\/p>\n

Local authorities reaffirmed the government\u2019s commitment to the most vulnerable sectors and announced that similar initiatives will continue in order to ease hardships in areas facing difficult socioeconomic conditions.
