It is recognized that success depends not only on individual effort but also on the context in which the student develops.<\/p>\n<p>The municipality of Guant\u00e1namo has nine multipurpose areas where students learn shoemaking, sewing, confectionery, and customer service, among other trades. Some also combine their training with practical experience in self-employed businesses or small and medium-sized enterprises.<\/p>\n<p>Job training for students with intellectual disabilities is essential for their future integration into social and family life.
