We are against the blockade, against its inclusion on the aforementioned list, because Cuba is a country that has been resisting for a long time,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>Escudero, who is also a member of the Bolivarian Solidarity Platform in Spain, pointed out that after the military intervention in Venezuela on January 3, \u201cwhat we want is for them not to dare attack Cuba, to lift the entire oil embargo, and to let the Cuban people live.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe stand with Cuba and we will do everything possible to support this heroic nation and prevent an invasion,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that solidarity and friendship groups with Cuba in Spain \u201care also asking for the support of governments, because Russia has been the only one to send an oil tanker, which has a limited lifespan.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Diplomats from the Cuban Embassy in this capital later left the legation to thank the demonstrators for their support of the island and their condemnation of the suffocating actions by the United States.<\/p>\n<p>[ SOURCE: PRENSA LATINA ]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Guantanamo.- Hundreds of Spaniards demonstrated on Sunday against a US military intervention in Cuba, while reiterating their condemnation of the White House\u2019s economic strangulation of the island.
