\"\"Guantanamo.- Approximately twenty community charging stations are being built in this city to guarantee energy for public transportation, other devices, and cooking. This initiative aims to address the prolonged blackouts caused by fuel shortages.<\/p>\n

The project is Cuba’s response to the fuel embargo imposed by the United States government and the country’s shift towards greater use of renewable energy sources. It envisions the construction of two stations in each of the city’s districts.<\/p>\n

Yusiff Borot Jim\u00e9nez, director of the Guant\u00e1namo Integral Construction Company (Guanco) and delegate of the Ministry of Construction in the province, explained that these stations will offer charging services for cell phones, portable charging stations (known as Ecoflow), and other electronic devices.<\/p>\n

They will also have cooking systems with a capacity for up to 10 rice cookers and 10 multi-purpose cookers, television service, and charging stations for electric scooters and tricycles<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
