Since late May, there has been a notable ripening of mangoes in the main town, which, while not abundant, is still significant enough to warrant the start of processing products.<\/p>\n<p>Local producer Miguel Frometa reported that over 100 boxes of mangoes have been lost between his farm and his uncle&#8217;s, including the highly sought-after Coraz\u00f3n variety, ideal for compote.<\/p>\n<p>This year, growers of the Coraz\u00f3n mango will receive payment in foreign currency due to its premium quality for juice and compote production.<\/p>\n<p>As the peak ripening season approaches in Puriales and the Caujeri Valley, the Cannery is prepared to begin processing products.
