On Saturday, organizers explained that the tour began in Turin, Italy, and then moved to Brussels, Belgium, and Paris, France. This Sunday, they plan to arrive in Warsaw, Poland, with plans to continue to other European cities in the coming weeks, with the aim of unifying the solidarity movement.<\/p>\n

These actions are taking place in a context marked by the intensification of restrictive measures imposed against Cuba, as well as new sanctions applied by the current US administration.<\/p>\n

The impact of the blockade not only directly affects the Cuban population but also reverberates through European citizens who maintain commercial or tourist ties with the island. For this reason, activists are urging European governments to take an interest in the situation and speak out against the consequences of these policies.<\/p>\n

The \u201cLet Cuba Breathe\u201d campaign aims to counter the \u201cpsychological warfare\u201d that, as denounced by intellectual Abel Prieto, is disseminated through digital platforms funded from abroad in order to manipulate and spread misinformation about the Cuban reality.<\/p>\n
