This stage will deliver a second dose to newly vaccinated children and boost immunity among nine-year-olds.<\/p>\n<p>Poliomyelitis was eradicated in Cuba in 1962 following a comprehensive vaccination campaign that halted transmission of this highly contagious viral disease.
