The Ministry of Transport (Mitrans) today released the official schedule for national trains for the month of August, confirming departures to four destinations in the eastern part of the country; the information was published through the institutional profile Rutas Nacionales on Facebook.<\/span><\/p>\n According to the announcement, the frequency of trips to Bayamo-Manzanillo, Holgu\u00edn, Guant\u00e1namo and Santiago de Cuba will remain every 16 days; this measure seeks to guarantee transportation and connections between the capital and these eastern cities.<\/span><\/p>\n The scheduled itinerary includes routes between Havana and Santiago de Cuba with departures on the 14th and 30th, as well as the return from Santiago to the capital on the 12th and 28th. Trips from Havana to Guant\u00e1namo and back are also planned for the 6th and 22nd, and the 4th and 20th, respectively.
