Student assemblies will be held on university premises to explain the regulations governing the Carlos J. Finlay Detachment and its missions for first-year students in each degree program.<\/p>\n<p>The program will also address the Dr. Mario Mu\u00f1oz Monroy Movement; the Frank Pa\u00eds Garc\u00eda Student Assistant Movement; the FEU Sports and Amateur Artists Movement; scientific activities; award and proficiency examinations; knowledge competitions; and the requirements for obtaining the Gold Title.<\/p>\n<p>New students will also attend a presentation of the book *Fidel Against Drugs*, delivered by Dr. Anselma Betancourt Pulsan, a Hero of Labor of the Republic of Cuba and a tenured professor at the University.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, they will learn about the work of Honorary and Multidisciplinary Chairs, the integration process, and the procedures for requesting a change of major, applying for student stipends, and completing the hiring process.<\/p>\n<p>The introductory course will conclude on Saturday, September 5, at 11 a.m. in the theater of the Doctor Agostinho Neto General Teaching Hospital. The University\u2019s Rector, Doctor of Health Sciences Yamil\u00e9 Rodr\u00edguez Sotomayor, will deliver the keynote lecture, **\u201cCarlos J.
