In spite of the misinformation and pressure exerted by the U.S. government, the multilateral forum provided an opportunity to condemn the extraterritorial implications of this oppressive blockade, which undermines trade freedom, violates international law, and infringes upon the self-determination rights of a sovereign nation.<\/p>\n
