The presidency is already in place: reenacting that Santa Ana morning, Army General Ra\u00fal Castro Ruz, Cuban President Miguel D\u00edaz-Canel Berm\u00fadez, Assembly President Esteban Lazo Hern\u00e1ndez and Commander Ramiro Vald\u00e9s Men\u00e9ndez are some of the faces in the front row.<\/p>\n

Seven decades later, we return to the same place. The National Rebellion Day ceremony begins in Santiago de Cuba.<\/p>\n

A video mapping recalls the events and, one by one, on the Moncada, the faces of the martyrs of the heroic deed appear.<\/p>\n

The Guantanamo municipality of Caimanera, separated by only millimeters from the illegal Yankee Naval Base, was the provincial headquarters of the act for the 70th anniversary of the assaults on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de C\u00e9spedes barracks, on July 26, 1953.<\/p>\n

During the political-cultural ceremony, performed by professional artists and local amateur artists -such as the G\u00e9nesis dance group, soloists Railin Ram\u00edrez, Eldrys Toirac, and the Municipal Concert Band, outstanding personalities, institutions and organizations were recognized.<\/p>\n

Likewise, Leandro Mart\u00ednez Bombal\u00e9, First Secretary of the Young Communists League (UJC) in that coastal territory, highlighted the role of the new generations as continuators of the Revolution who are also committed to a better world, consolidating the economic and social tasks for well-being of all.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
