The installation and start-up of a communication base station in Alto de Cotilla, an elevation located in the Im\u00edas Municipality, 200 m
\nabove sea level, is already bearing fruit.<\/p>\n

Although the trials continue, according to information offered by Mois\u00e9s Jim\u00e9nez, director of the Radio Playita Station, several users
\nare grateful through social networks and report the functionality of the device, through which they have been able to communicate with
\ntheir relatives in communities that until date, there was no communication.<\/p>\n

The Minister of Telecommunications Marta Arevych arrived at that site last June, as part of the most recent Government visit to the
\nprovince. There, they checked the progress of the construction work of the installation, a location that today allows improving the
\ncommunications service in that area.<\/p>\n

The new 2G\/3G technology radio base station must guarantee cellular coverage throughout La Farola Viaduct and surrounding
\ncommunities. It will function as a broadcaster for digital terrestrial television and has a photovoltaic system to guarantee its
