Guant\u00e1namo \u2013 The conference \u201cModernity and eclecticism in the work of Regino E. Boti, opens in Guantanamo the 46th edition of the Literature and Plastic Arts Contests dedicated to the most renowned poet of the territory. The lecture given by the art critic Jorge N\u00fa\u00f1ez Motes takes place at the Aretusa room, of the Cuban Writers and Artists Association (Uneac), in the province.<\/p>\n
The avant-garde in Boti\u2019s lyrics is highlighted by the writer Mireya Pi\u00f1eiro Ortigosa when commenting on \u201cKodak-Ensue\u00f1o,\u201d the collection of poems that celebrates 95 years of its publication.<\/p>\n
The National Prize for Plastic Arts Nelson Dom\u00ednguez Cede\u00f1o, among the guest artists, that take part of the various activities, which include the award ceremony of the contests in that plastic arts and literature.<\/p>\n
The provincial director of Culture, Yoelvis Laba\u00f1ino L\u00f3pez and the Yuliet Heredia Su\u00e1rez, director of the Book and Literature Center also attend the event, which runs until Saturday.<\/p>\n
