Boti 2024 National Plastic Arts and Literature Contest were presented in Guantanamo Province. It was dedicated, on this occasion, to engraving and poetry, and the awards were announced during the closing ceremony at the Caf\u00e9 Cantante Am\u00e9rica in this city.<\/p>\n<p>Four competing engravers from Santiago de Cuba won prizes for their works among the 45 admitted to the contest that took place at the Antografia gallery, organized by the Provincial Council of Plastic Arts: Carlos Ren\u00e9 Aguilera (<em>La Patagonia y Burbujas<\/em>), Julio C\u00e9sar Carmenate (<em>El Ojo del Amo series <\/em>was granted a scholarship creation of the Saiz Brother Association), Jorge Juan Knight Vera (Todav\u00eda falta y Cris\u00e1lida), and Israel Tamayo Zamora (mention to the ensemble).<\/p>\n<p>The National Fine Arts Prize winner Nelson Dom\u00ednguez Cede\u00f1o chaired the jury, also made up of Daniel N\u00fa\u00f1ez Ju\u00e1rez and Yanette Brossuard, who read the minutes at the closing of the day, held from June 5 to 8 in this city.<\/p>\n<p>Anaysi Taupier Hierrezuelo, president of the provincial council of Plastic Arts, highlighted the attendance of dozens of works by artists from various provinces, exhibitions, workshops and conferences, with the participation of guests such as Dom\u00ednguez Cede\u00f1o, Brossuar, Tamayo Zamora, Knight Vera, and the Canadian engraver Alan Fling, among others.<\/p>\n<p>For its part, the collection of poems <em>Mantenerse fiel en el oto\u00f1o<\/em>, by Ragnar Wilfredo Robas, was the only winner in Literature category, by unanimous decision of the jury made up of the writers Mireya Pi\u00f1eiro Ortigosa, Nelson Sim\u00f3n Gonz\u00e1lez and Reinaldo Cede\u00f1o Pineda, who read the corresponding act.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FPVenceremos%2Fposts%2Fpfbid0sXv6H9exuXo9iBa5Bz6QqxemgKD5A9W4Xq82NxVS7kV5zMyw8gcHY2GbRoEJCLqRl&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"799\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>He presented the accreditation diploma to the author, in the ceremony that also included the participation of Representative Idaliena D\u00edaz Casamayor, president of the Municipal Assembly of People\u2019s Power in the main town, the director of the Provincial Center of Books and Literature, an institution that also sponsors the event together with the provincial directorate of Culture.<\/p>\n<p>The collateral prize of the Hermanos Sa\u00edz Association in the country was additionally awarded to the poetry collection <em>Monologuo interior<\/em>, by Liset Gonz\u00e1lez, from Pinar del R\u00edo, by a jury made up of Carlos Esquivel, Alejandro Rama and Ra\u00fal Leyva Pupo.<\/p>\n<p>Trasnlated by Liubis Balart<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Guantanamo.- The awards of the 46th edition of the Regino E.
