In a statement, the union organization denounced that, a few days after the mobilization of the \u00a8Ni Una Menos\u00a8 movement, the Executive announced the closure of the Undersecretariat for Protection Against Gender Violence.<\/p>\n

This organization belonged to the Ministry of Women, Gender and Diversity, created during the administration of former President Alberto Fern\u00e1ndez and whose dissolution was reported by La Libertad Avanza.<\/p>\n

The CTA expressed its solidarity with hundreds of workers who will be laid off and recalled that each job lost is a policy that is no longer applied and an entire family that is left without income.<\/p>\n

More than 15 thousand employees of the public administration have been expelled since Milei took office. Their role is to guarantee our rights. Without workers there is no State, the text adds.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, it indicates that \u201cthe programs to address violence, the promotion of equality, the application of the Micaela Law (establishes mandatory training for officials), the Transvestite Trans Labor Quota and the Gender Identity Law, among others are essential and vital.\u201d<\/p>\n

Defunding assistance and protection to people in this context of social, economic, occupational and housing crisis, while hate speech, discrimination and attacks on diversity are amplified by the Government, puts the lives of citizens at risk and it implies the abandonment of the responsibility to protect human rights, adds the CTA.<\/p>\n

Likewise, it points out that, for the first time since 1992, the country is without an agency responsible for the execution of policies that promote equality, lives free of violence and discrimination.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
