On June 3, the Cuban head of state spoke by telephone with Sheinbaum, to whom he expressed the Caribbean country\u2019s willingness to continue strengthening the endearing brotherhood between both nations.<\/p>\n

Sheinbaum became the first woman to hold the highest office of the Aztec nation, winning the presidency with over 60 percent of the votes in the elections held on June 3.<\/p>\n

The head of Minrex represented Cuba at the III Ministerial Conference on Feminist Foreign Policies, held in Mexico City and focused on the discussion of policies and strategies aimed at promoting equality through foreign policies, in addition to identifying positive experiences and the challenges of building more inclusive societies.<\/p>\n
