{"id":9678,"date":"2024-09-06T12:48:42","date_gmt":"2024-09-06T16:48:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.radioguantanamo.icrt.cu\/english\/?p=9678"},"modified":"2024-09-06T18:26:03","modified_gmt":"2024-09-06T22:26:03","slug":"cuban-women-federation-in-guantanamo-with-various-training-programfor-young-people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.radioguantanamo.icrt.cu\/english\/cuban-women-federation-in-guantanamo-with-various-training-programfor-young-people\/","title":{"rendered":"Cuban Women Federation in Guantanamo with various training programfor young people"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9679\" src=\"https:\/\/www.radioguantanamo.icrt.cu\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/fmc-casa.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.radioguantanamo.icrt.cu\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/fmc-casa.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.radioguantanamo.icrt.cu\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/fmc-casa-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/>Guant\u00e1namo &#8211; More than 2,500 Guantanamo residents were trained for various trades through training programs taught at the Women and Family Orientation Centers this year, an option that provides them with basic preparation to start a profession.<\/p>\n<p>It was reported by Alexandra Cobas S\u00e1nchez, member of the provincial secretariat of the Cuban Women Federation (FMC), who also highlighted that to date, of the 160 courses scheduled for 2024, a hundred have already been taught with duration of two to three months.<\/p>\n<p>The courses are aimed at various trades and among the most in demand are cooking, baking, bartender, body massage and comprehensive clerk, among a wide range that also includes hairdressing, barbering, English Language and Economics for entrepreneurs, to mention just a few.<\/p>\n<p>The women&#8217;s leader explained that the training courses given in the Women and Family Orientation Centers contribute to the reintegration into society of young people who have left the community, housewives, self-employed workers or others interested in learning some of these trades.<\/p>\n<p>Cobas S\u00e1nchez emphasized that the capital municipality, Im\u00edas and Caimanera are at the forefront of this program, and others such as Baracoa require an effort in order to train the inhabitants for future employment.<\/p>\n<p>With a monthly fee of 75 pesos, the training courses are highly accepted and the graduates receive a nationally endorsed certificate, with its volume and folio, which constitutes a legal document to work in the specialties studied.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Guant\u00e1namo &#8211; More than 2,500 Guantanamo residents were trained for various trades through training programs taught at the Women and Family Orientation Centers this year, an option that provides them with basic preparation to start a profession.
